Emily Sargent, PhD, LP

Project Director

Emily Sargent is a member of the White Earth Band of MN Chippewa Tribe. She is a licensed psychologist at Sanford Health, and specializes in traumatic stress treatment in Native American communities. She is the Cultural Diversity Director for TCTY, and Project Director for Project HEAL. She graduated with her PhD from the University of North Dakota’s Indians into Psychology Doctoral Education program in 2020. Dr. Sargent is a Mother, wife, daughter, sister, relative, and  life long learner of finding balance and harmony. She enjoys spending time outdoors back home in White Earth, traveling, and cheering on her husband who coaches college football at the University of North Dakota!
